About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Remote Structural Civil Engineer to join their expanding virtual team. This role is perfect for a professional who excels in structural analysis and design, working exclusively from a remote location. You will be integral to the structural integrity and safety of diverse building and infrastructure projects, contributing expertise from design through to construction support. Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for various components, including foundations, frames, and retaining walls.
- Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using advanced engineering software.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers in a remote setting .
- Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, national standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams remotely during project execution.
- Research and recommend innovative materials and construction techniques for optimal structural performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP
2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro). - In-depth knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design principles.
