Our client is seeking an innovative Industrial Automation Engineer to join their engineering department in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and controls for our manufacturing processes worldwide. Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Develop automation strategies and project plans for new equipment and process upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automated systems and robotics remotely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and operations personnel, on automation projects.
- Ensure automation systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Research and recommend new automation technologies and solutions to improve production capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Experience with robotics, vision systems, and industrial networks.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and control system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.
