About the Role
Our client is looking for a forward-thinking and analytical Remote Production Engineer to enhance and optimize their manufacturing processes from a distance. This role will focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality output through remote analysis and strategic implementation. You will collaborate closely with on-site production teams, R&D, and supply chain partners to drive operational excellence. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned engineer who is adept at remote collaboration and possesses a deep understanding of manufacturing optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze production data and process performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing production efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions remotely.
- Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing operations.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for production processes, standards, and procedures.
- Support new product introductions by optimizing manufacturing processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience (5+ years) as a Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process analysis, optimization techniques, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP systems.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
