Remote Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to their innovative projects from anywhere. You will be instrumental in the design, analysis, and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems and components. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home office while collaborating closely with a global team of engineers and designers.

• Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and systems utilizing advanced CAD software .
• Perform detailed engineering analysis , including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to optimize designs.
• Create comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing partners, via digital communication tools.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues encountered during prototyping, testing, or production phases.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools such as Solid Works, Inventor, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience with FEA and CFD analysis techniques and software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a distributed team setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
