About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Mechanical Project Engineer to manage and execute mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets for mechanical engineering initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring seamless collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively to all relevant parties through various virtual channels.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and manage vendor relationships remotely.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project engineering and management within the mechanical engineering sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects remotely.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
