Remote CAD Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly proficient Remote CAD Engineer to contribute to their innovative product development efforts. This position is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using advanced CAD software, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and meet all project specifications. • Develop and modify complex 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings for new and existing products.
• Create and manage assemblies, ensuring proper fit, form, and function of all components.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other documentation required for manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams in a remote setting.
• Ensure all CAD data adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the development and production phases.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Engineer , Drafter, or similar role.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as Solid Works , Inventor, or CATIA.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
