Lead Civil Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and technically adept Lead Civil Engineer to guide our engineering team in delivering innovative infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for the technical direction, design, and oversight of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet stringent quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of various civil engineering projects , including roads, bridges, water systems, and site developments.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and design teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Oversee the preparation and review of environmental impact assessments and permit applications.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with objectives.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase, troubleshooting any engineering challenges that arise.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management .
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in managing project teams and mentoring junior staff in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and environmental regulations.
