About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Civil Engineer to serve as a Structural Design Lead in a fully remote capacity. This role demands a leader capable of guiding the structural design process for complex projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation. You will collaborate with design teams, review structural analyses, and provide expert oversight, all within a flexible, remote work environment.

- Lead and manage the structural design process for a variety of projects, from conceptualization to final construction documentation.
- Perform complex structural analyses and design calculations for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- Review and approve structural drawings, specifications, and calculations prepared by team members.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and project managers in a remote setting to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams working remotely.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related Civil Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design .
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP
2000, STAAD.Pro) and BIM tools (e.g., Revit Structure). - Deep understanding of material behavior, load calculations, and seismic design principles.
