About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer with a specialization in geotechnical engineering for a fully remote position. This role involves providing expert analysis and design recommendations for a wide range of projects, ensuring ground stability and foundation integrity. You will conduct thorough reviews of site investigation data, perform complex analyses, and develop innovative solutions for challenging geotechnical conditions, all while working from your chosen location.

• Perform advanced geotechnical analysis for foundation design (including deep foundations), slope stability, and earth retention systems.
• Review and interpret geotechnical site investigation reports, ensuring data quality and completeness.
• Develop detailed technical recommendations and design parameters for soil improvement and ground stabilization methods.
• Provide expert consultation on seismic design, liquefaction analysis, and dynamic response of structures.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, clients, and design teams to ensure geotechnical requirements are met.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related Civil Engineering field.
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, Geo Studio, or similar.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
