About the Role

This crucial role involves leading a specialized team, driving client acquisition, and ensuring the successful placement of engineering professionals into key roles within the North West region. You will be responsible for setting recruitment strategies, mentoring consultants, and managing a portfolio of high-profile clients, playing a key part in the continued success and expansion of the firm's engineering division.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruitment consultants focused on the engineering sector.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base and secure new recruitment mandates.
• Oversee the full recruitment process for engineering roles, ensuring efficiency and quality in candidate delivery.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract niche engineering talent.
• Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance productivity and achieve targets.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and service development for the engineering practice.

• At least 6 years of progressive recruitment experience, with a significant focus on the engineering discipline.
• Proven track record of successful business development and client relationship management in a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines, required skills, and market demand.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Human Resources, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
