About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Remote Aviation Systems Engineer to join their advanced engineering team. This position involves the design, integration, and testing of complex avionic and aircraft systems. As a fully remote role, you will contribute your expertise from anywhere, collaborating with a talented group of engineers on cutting-edge projects. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate complex aviation systems, including avionics, flight controls, and communication systems.
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis to evaluate performance and identify potential issues.
- Develop and execute system test plans, documenting results and troubleshooting failures.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and test procedures.
- Ensure systems meet all performance, safety, and regulatory requirements for aviation applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Significant experience in the design and development of complex aerospace or aviation systems .
- Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, DOORS).
- Experience with simulation and analysis software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of avionics, communication systems, and flight control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team environment.
