Mechanical Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their fully remote engineering division. This role is critical for integrating and optimizing complex mechanical systems across diverse projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless interaction of various mechanical components, troubleshooting system-level issues, and driving technical solutions from conception through to deployment, all while working from your home base.

• Analyze, design, and develop integrated mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Perform system-level performance analysis, modeling, and simulation.
• Develop and implement system test plans and procedures, and analyze test data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues, both remotely and in collaboration with field teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and control engineers to ensure cohesive system functionality.
• Document system architecture, design choices, and operational procedures thoroughly.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design, integration, and analysis.
• Proficiency with systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS) and system modeling.
• Strong understanding of interdisciplinary engineering concepts.
