About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Remote Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Dynamics and Vibrations to join their innovative product development team. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, performance, and longevity of complex mechanical systems by mitigating unwanted vibrations and ensuring dynamic stability. You will work entirely remotely, collaborating virtually with design engineers, project managers, and test engineers to implement solutions for vibration control, noise reduction, and dynamic response optimization.

This is an ideal position for a highly analytical engineer passionate about understanding and controlling dynamic mechanical behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the dynamic behavior of mechanical systems, including modal analysis, harmonic response, and transient dynamic simulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for vibration control , noise reduction, and damping in product designs.
  • Utilize specialized software for dynamics and vibration analysis to predict system responses and identify potential resonance issues.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to integrate vibration mitigation techniques into new product designs.
  • Plan and oversee experimental modal analysis and vibration testing to validate simulation results.
  • Troubleshoot dynamic performance issues in existing products and propose effective design modifications.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Dynamics, Vibrations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design with a strong focus on dynamics and vibration analysis.
  • Proficiency in advanced FEA tools with specialized capabilities for dynamic analysis (e.g., ANSYS Mechanical, COMSOL Multiphysics).
  • Deep understanding of vibration theory, modal analysis, acoustics, and control systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage analysis projects effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for virtual collaboration.
Benefits
  • Highly competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits package designed for remote employees, including health and wellness support.
  • Access to advanced simulation software and virtual training resources.
  • Flexible work hours to optimize productivity and work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work on challenging, cutting-edge engineering projects from a remote location.
