HV Field Service Engineer

• Work on maintenance aspects of our electricity switch gear and plant up to and including 400kV (training and development will be on offer to get you Authorised up to 400kV)
• SAP training and development
• Investigate alarms from the system and provide fault response
• Support with the delivery of projects
• Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Supervise engineering work onsite
• Assess the technical requirements for ongoing projects

Qualifications :

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience from within the energy sector
• Demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance
• Previous SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of O&M works processes
• Have a high standard of HSE awareness
• Knowledgeable in:

  • Commissioning
• MS Office Applications
• The position will require extensive travel within the UK and sometimes abroad.
• Applicants will need the right permit to work in the UK as well as a clean driving licence.
