About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Aviation Safety Investigator to join their dedicated safety team in a fully remote capacity. This crucial role involves conducting thorough investigations into aviation accidents, incidents, and occurrences to determine their causes and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences. You will work independently, often coordinating with external agencies and experts, to gather evidence, analyze data, and produce comprehensive safety recommendations.

This remote position demands a rigorous approach to fact-finding and a deep commitment to enhancing aviation safety worldwide, contributing to a safer skies for all from your home office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct impartial investigations into aviation accidents, incidents, and significant occurrences.
  • Collect, preserve, and analyze all relevant evidence, including flight data, maintenance records, and witness statements.
  • Determine the probable cause(s) and contributing factors of aviation events.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports, including findings, conclusions, and safety recommendations.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry experts, and internal teams throughout the investigation process.
  • Promote a culture of safety reporting and continuous learning based on investigation outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Significant experience (e.g., 7+ years) as an Aviation Safety Investigator or in a related investigative role.
  • Expertise in accident investigation methodologies, evidence handling, and data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of aviation operations , aircraft systems, and human factors.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely in a remote setting .
