About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Process Improvement Engineer to join their distributed team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing existing manufacturing and operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall quality. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive transformative changes.

- Conduct detailed analyses of current manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new or modified processes and workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to drive process optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement and sustain process improvements.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of implemented improvements, ensuring achievement of desired outcomes and ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Process Improvement Engineer or similar role, with a strong track record of successful project implementation.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly preferred).
- Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and statistical tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a remote setting.
