About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead process optimization and operational excellence initiatives within a fully remote setting. This leadership role involves guiding a team of engineers, mentoring junior talent, and defining the strategic direction for industrial engineering practices across the organization. - Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers, providing technical guidance and performance management.
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for process improvement, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects and solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess progress and drive accountability.
- Champion the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices across the organization.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions and drive project success.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field;
PhD is a plus. - 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt certification highly desirable), and Theory of Constraints.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from conception to completion, delivering measurable results.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, process modeling, simulation, and data visualization tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
