We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join and grow with our Municipal Water Infrastructure team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality water and wastewater projects, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to help meet client expectations, project objectives, and organizational standards. You will also contribute to promoting our strong safety culture and commitment to caring for one another.

This position offers the flexibility of our hybrid work model, including flexible hours, working from home, work either in our Markham, Mississauga, Kitchener or London offices.
Responsibilities:
- Support the project management and delivery of preliminary and detailed designs for municipal water and wastewater servicing projects
- Lead technical work packages on multidisciplinary projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating work with technical teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, health and safety, and risk management requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and performance metrics
- Assisting with timely preparation of invoices and supporting project financial tracking
- Proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff and designers
- Supporting business development activities, including preparing technical components for proposals and project pursuits
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university
- 8 years of relevant technical and project experience within consulting, specifically in municipal water/wastewater systems (distribution, conveyance, treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.)
- Eligible for or registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario and/or other provinces
