Senior Infrastructure Engineer
 
Leeds, £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience, Permanent, Hybrid working
 
Are you a Senior Infrastructure Engineer looking to take ownership of highways and drainage design across major development projects?
 
You will join a well-established engineering consultancy where you will work closely with an experienced structural engineering team on prestigious commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare developments. You will have the opportunity to manage your own projects, develop your technical expertise and help shape our client's growing 3D modelling capabilities.
 
Your next opportunity
Our client is looking for a motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work on the infrastructure elements of structural engineering projects, predominantly across the North of England and centred around Leeds, with occasional projects elsewhere in the UK. You will be responsible for designing highway and drainage schemes and will work closely with structural engineers to deliver coordinated, high-quality solutions.
 
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be doing the following:

· You will design highway schemes, including Section 38 and Section 278 works.

· You will design drainage schemes, including Section 106, Section 104 and Section 184 works.

· You will prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports.

· You will use software including Flow, Info Drainage, PDS, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

· You will help develop our client's 3D modelling capabilities.

· You will use Civil 3D and/or Site 3D to model drainage and external works.

· You will coordinate infrastructure models with structural Revit models.

· You will manage projects independently through to completion.

· You will work directly with clients and attend design team meetings.

· You will build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.

· You will work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
 
What you will bring
To succeed as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will need:

· Experience designing highways and drainage infrastructure within a consultancy environment.

· Experience with Section 38 and Section 278 highway schemes.

· Experience with Section 106, Section 104 and Section 184 drainage schemes.

· A working knowledge of Flow, Info Drainage, PDS, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

· Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports.

· A good understanding of current technical standards.

· The ability to manage your own workload and deliver projects independently.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience dealing directly with clients and attending design team meetings.

· The ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships.

· A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, preferably at degree level.

· Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

· A full UK driving licence.
Previous UK consultancy experience within this field will be highly beneficial, with around five years' experience being preferred. Professional status such as CEng or IEng would also be advantageous.
 
Salary and benefits
The salary for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer position is £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
 
You will also receive:
