About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to a sustainable future from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of solar and wind energy projects, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and environmental objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, risk management, and team coordination in a virtual setting.
You will play a crucial role in expanding renewable energy infrastructure and driving the company's green initiatives forward.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for renewable energy projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning and handover.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as external consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues in a remote environment.
- Monitor project performance, track key milestones, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management , with a strong focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.).
- Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development cycles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing remote teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools relevant to the energy sector.
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Project Management is required.
