About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in power electronics to join their innovative team, operating under a fully remote work model. - Design and develop high-performance power electronic converters (e.g., AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC) for various applications.
- Conduct circuit design, simulation (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink), and analysis of power electronic topologies.
- Select and evaluate power semiconductor devices, passive components, and control strategies.
- Lead the design process from concept through to prototyping, testing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in power electronic systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical rigor in a remote setting.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
- Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in the design and development of power electronic systems.
- Deep understanding of power semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory for power converters.
- Proficiency in simulation tools and schematic capture software.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong leadership skills, effective in a remote collaborative environment.
