About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role is central to developing and implementing innovative solutions for environmental challenges, focusing on pollution control, waste management, and environmental impact assessments. You will contribute to projects that promote sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations across various sectors. Key Responsibilities- Assess environmental impacts of projects and develop mitigation strategies and management plans.
- Design and implement systems for pollution control, waste treatment, and waste management.
- Conduct environmental site assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Prepare environmental reports, permit applications, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental best practices to clients and project teams.
- Collaborate remotely with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or eligibility with ECSA.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, standards, and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
