Senior Civil Structurall BIM Cad Designer

Our client has a requirement for a Civil/Structural CAD BIM Technician, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Manchester, with a combination of office and remote working.

Role Purpose

Working within the Water team, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and developing civil and structural CAD design deliverables, including 3D models, technical drawings, and sketches across a range of water and wastewater projects. The role will support projects from concept through to detailed design, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Job Role Responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural design deliverables in both 2D and 3D.
• Prepare design solutions for all project stages from concept to detailed design.
• Develop BIM models using Revit and extract associated 2D drawings.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D where required.
• Work within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Ensure draughting and modelling activities are completed to programme and budget.
• Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with engineers and other technical disciplines.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of both temporary and permanent works designs.
