Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a good understanding of 3D CAD packages looking to join a rapidly growing X-Ray equipment manufacturer working on bespoke projects with real progression to Senior roles within their new workshop?

Established in 2003, this specialist company provide industrial X-ray services to local manufacturers including cabinets, equipment and even entire rooms. After continued growth they have recently moved into a new workshop and are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the tight-knit team.

In this role you will be designing parts and assemblies for bespoke x-ray enclosures and manipulators using AutoCAD. You will be creating your designs either in office or from home whilst collaborating with the Electrical Design Engineers supporting the project production and installation team. You will also be responsible for creating and updating billing of materials and designs.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an X-ray specialist at an exciting period of growth, with significant investment in new projects, a growing team and a brand-new workshop.

The Role:

• Design and draw parts and assemblies for X-ray enclosures
• Create and update pricing of designs
• Collaborate with Electrical Design Engineers and installation teams
• Monday - Friday (flexible working hours and working from home)
• Overtime available paid at 1.5x

• Mechanical Design Engineer from any industry
• Willing to commute to workshop/office in Milton Keynes
