Role Overview :
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (FreeCAD) to work on a Full-Time basis. The role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing designs using FreeCAD for precision components. The position requires translating technical specifications into detailed 3D models and technical drawings for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and model mechanical components using FreeCAD for manufacturing applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from production and engineering teams.

• Generate and maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs.

• Perform design reviews to identify potential manufacturing challenges and propose solutions.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in FreeCAD for 3D modeling and parametric design.

• Experience with mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.

• Familiarity with CAD file formats and data exchange between systems.
