About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic, geographically dispersed team. This position is crucial for assessing ground conditions and providing expert recommendations for a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects. You will work from your home office, collaborating closely with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure the stability and safety of foundations and earthworks.

- Conduct detailed analysis of soil conditions, subsurface investigations, and site assessments for various construction projects.
- Develop comprehensive geotechnical reports , including foundation design recommendations, slope stability analyses, and ground improvement strategies.
- Collaborate remotely with project teams to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project planning and design.
- Review and approve geotechnical designs and proposals from external consultants.
- Ensure compliance with relevant geotechnical engineering standards and regulations.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance on geotechnical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical investigation and design .
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, Geo Studio, or similar.
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and earthworks design .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration .
