About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to contribute to critical infrastructure upgrade projects in Kimberley . This role involves the design and management of essential civil works, including roads, water, and sanitation infrastructure, supporting the growth and development of the Northern Cape. You will work within a supportive, remote-first environment, collaborating with a distributed team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

- Design and develop plans for municipal infrastructure projects, such as roads, stormwater, and water reticulation.
- Conduct site assessments, prepare technical reports, and ensure designs meet all relevant standards.
- Manage project components from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to oversee project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental best practices.
- Utilize engineering software for design, analysis, and drafting.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional registration with ECSA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project implementation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant engineering analysis tools.
- Experience with municipal infrastructure projects, including roads and water services.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
