Our Strategic Asset Management team is growing, working across sectors providing advisory and consultancy services to road, rail, aviation, local government and energy clients. The opportunities to engage with a variety of clients and government authorities will enhance your career and help develop new skills, all whilst working towards accreditation with a professional institution i.e. ICE, IAM, IHT and others. Your experience combined with the support network available to you will help deliver excellence for clients with safety at the centre of everything we do.

The Role ...
- Client engagement work where you will understand what clients need and translate that into clear, simple solutions.
- Project management duties where you’ll play an important role in delivering project tasks on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Reviewing available asset condition data to support asset management planning work, and effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to clients.
- Providing technical assurance in the delivery of lifecyle renewal activities with health, safety and the environment being key focal points.
- Have a Diploma or Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering with previous experience in the highways sector.
- Be professionally qualified with a recognised institution or be working towards one in your field of expertise.
- Show an understanding of the of the strategic road network and the operation and maintenance of key asset categories, focussing on asset management.
- Hold a specialism in at least one asset type preferably highway bridges and structures (expertise of additional highway assets would be desirable).
- Competency in managing asset data, developing forward plans, and supporting the delivery of lifecyle renewal activities.
- Knowledge of design delivery processes and technical assurance would be useful albeit is not mandatory.
- Be able to travel to/from site and/or client offices, including remote locations where required.
