Position: Environmental Sustainability Officer [Regional Civils Southeast]

Implementing project sustainability plans

Applications for consents, licences, permits

Environmental data validation and analysis

Technical advice

Planned & unplanned inspections

Environmental guidance & training

Investigating environmental incidents

Reporting against environmental KPIsCollaborating with wider team Mentoring / managing others
Who we're looking for
UK Driving Licence required

Experience in UK flood and coastal works

Experience in delivering ambitions sustainability goalsCTC security clearance is required, which can be arranged with the relevant operational team.

Practical application of ISO 14001, including risk and opportunity assessment and environmental controls.

Working knowledge of environmental legislation

Knowledge of key environmental sustainability data types used for measuring performance.

Preferably educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline.
