About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Mossel Bay , focusing on essential municipal water and sanitation infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, planning, and management of water supply systems, wastewater treatment facilities, and stormwater management projects critical to the region's sustainability. • Design and manage the implementation of water supply networks, including pipelines and treatment plants.
• Develop solutions for wastewater collection, treatment, and discharge systems.
• Plan and design stormwater management infrastructure to mitigate flooding and improve water quality.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water systems.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations and water quality standards.
• Prepare feasibility studies, design reports, and tender documentation.

• BEng or BSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources.
• At least 5 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, Info Works ICM).
• Knowledge of relevant South African water standards and legislation.
• Experience with project management and contract administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to water systems.
