Remote Water Resources Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Water Resources Engineer to join their virtual team and contribute to critical water management and infrastructure projects nationwide. This role will focus on the planning, design, and analysis of water systems, including supply, distribution, wastewater treatment, and flood control. • Design and analyze water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
• Conduct hydrological studies, hydraulic modeling, and flood risk assessments using specialized software.
• Develop concepts and detailed designs for water infrastructure, including dams, reservoirs, pipelines, and pumping stations.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and environmental impact assessments related to water resources projects.
• Collaborate with remote project teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support for the construction and operation of water infrastructure.

• Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering or Civil Engineering with a water focus.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in water resources management and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, EPANET, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology , fluid mechanics, and water quality principles.
• Experience with environmental regulations and permitting processes for water projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a remote environment .
