Graduate Civil Engineer - Water Resources

About the Role

Our client is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to gain practical experience in water resource management . Based in Richards Bay , this role will provide exposure to projects involving water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to design, analysis, and reporting tasks. This position is designed to provide comprehensive training and mentorship in a dynamic engineering field, with a strong emphasis on remote learning and project contribution.

• Assist in data collection and analysis for water resource projects.
• Support the design of water and wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure.
• Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Conduct research on relevant water management technologies and best practices.
• Learn to use specialized software for hydraulic modeling and water quality analysis.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources.
• Strong academic record and a keen interest in water engineering .
• Familiarity with basic principles of hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with relevant engineering software is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a remote work setting.
