About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented and self-motivated Remote Reservoir Engineer to join their globally distributed team, focusing on upstream project development and optimization. You will be responsible for analyzing reservoir data, developing production forecasts, and recommending strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.

• Perform detailed reservoir characterization using geological and engineering data.
• Develop and validate reservoir simulation models for predicting future performance and evaluating development scenarios.
• Generate accurate production forecasts and economic evaluations for oil and gas assets.
• Recommend optimized production strategies, including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.
• Collaborate virtually with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers across different time zones.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to project teams and management.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering.
• Proficiency with industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., CMG, ECLIPSE) and analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of reservoir physics, fluid flow, and well test analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
