Senior MEP Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior MEP Engineer to join their remote engineering division. This role is crucial for the design, planning, and oversight of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in complex construction projects. Working from a remote location, you will collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors to deliver integrated and efficient MEP solutions. You will leverage your extensive technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to ensure that all MEP aspects of a project meet the highest standards of performance, sustainability, and compliance, all within a flexible and home-based work structure.

• Design and develop MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing layouts.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for MEP installations.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and respond to site queries related to MEP systems.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and monitor the progress of MEP installations.
• Ensure MEP designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP engineering for construction projects.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP).
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems design and installation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote collaborative environment.
