Remote Civil Engineer - Water Resources Management

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources Management for a fully remote position. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing sustainable water management strategies, contributing to projects that address water scarcity, flood control, and wastewater treatment. • Develop and manage comprehensive water resource management plans, including surface water and groundwater systems.
• Conduct hydrological modeling and analysis to assess water availability, flood risks, and drought impacts.
• Design and oversee the implementation of water infrastructure projects, such as dams, canals, pipelines, and treatment facilities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water quality standards throughout project life cycles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental groups, and community representatives, to facilitate integrated water management solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies related to water resource projects.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resource planning, design, and project management.
• Proficiency in hydrological modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, MODFLOW).
• Strong understanding of water quality, treatment technologies, and sustainable water management practices.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage projects autonomously.
