About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resource Management to join their fully remote team. This position is pivotal in designing and implementing sustainable solutions for water supply, drainage, and flood control projects across various regions. You will work from anywhere, collaborating virtually with project teams and stakeholders to address complex water challenges. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated engineer who excels in remote work environments and is passionate about developing innovative water management strategies for a greener future, impacting projects nationally from their remote location.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop comprehensive water resource management plans, including supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
- Conduct hydrological studies, hydraulic modeling, and flood risk assessments.
- Prepare engineering designs, technical specifications, and tender documents for water infrastructure projects.
- Ensure designs adhere to environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with remote teams, clients, and regulatory bodies using digital communication tools.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in water resource engineering.
- Proven ability to manage projects remotely and collaborate effectively in virtual teams.
- Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC‑RAS, EPANET).
- Strong understanding of water quality standards and environmental impact assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
