About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Remote Aviation Safety Officer to join their expanding team. This role is critical in developing, implementing, and overseeing safety management systems across all operational facets of the company, ensuring compliance with international aviation regulations. You will play a key part in fostering a strong safety culture, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and contributing to the continuous improvement of safety performance, all from a remote work setting.
This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional analytical skills and a deep commitment to aviation safety principles, supporting a global team.
- Develop and implement Safety Management Systems (SMS) tailored to aviation operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification across various aviation activities.
- Investigate aviation incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver aviation safety training programs to operational staff.
- Monitor compliance with aviation safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain safety performance indicators and report on key safety metrics to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety management or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA).
- Experience in developing and implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS) .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Relevant certifications in aviation safety or a related discipline are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
