Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Renewable Energy Analyst to contribute to their strategic initiatives within the George area. - Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to renewable energy resources, such as solar irradiation and wind speeds.
- Support the evaluation of project economics, including capital costs, operating expenses, and revenue projections.
- Conduct market research on renewable energy policies, incentives, and competitor activities in the Western Cape.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical and financial reports for stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Help in the development of proposals and presentations for new renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data interpretation and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in renewable energy concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
