Mechanical Engineer - Automotive Components

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Automotive Components to join their fully remote team. • Design and develop mechanical components for automotive applications, focusing on areas such as powertrain, chassis, or thermal management.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to optimize component performance, durability, and weight.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including 3D models, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct virtual testing and validation of components and systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in automotive mechanical engineering.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in automotive engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and development of automotive mechanical components.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) and analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Strong understanding of automotive standards, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to vehicle components.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R is highly desirable.
