About the Role

Working from anywhere in South Africa, you will collaborate with global engineering teams to define system requirements, architect solutions, and integrate various automotive subsystems. This role is crucial for developing advanced features in areas such as autonomous driving, powertrain control, and vehicle dynamics.

- Define, architect, and integrate complex automotive systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
- Develop system requirements, specifications, and validation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) to design and test system behavior.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and mechanical engineers in a remote , agile environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system design processes and methodologies.
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in automotive systems engineering , with a focus on areas like ADAS, powertrain, or chassis control.
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of control theory, functional safety (ISO 26262), and automotive communication protocols.
- Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
