About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer to join their remote team, contributing to the growth of sustainable energy solutions. This role involves the electrical design, integration, and performance analysis of solar, wind, and battery storage projects. Key Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including PV arrays, wind turbines, and energy storage systems.
- Perform electrical load calculations, grid interconnection studies, and protection coordination for renewable energy installations.
- Specify electrical components such as inverters, transformers, switch gear, and cabling.
- Collaborate with project managers, EPC contractors, and utility representatives to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze system performance data, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the optimization of renewable energy assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or renewable energy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of solar, wind, or battery storage technologies.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools relevant to renewable energy systems.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices for renewable energy installations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, international team.
