About the Role
Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Operations Efficiency Engineer to join their strategic planning team, offering the flexibility of remote work. This role is central to enhancing the overall performance and profitability of the company by analyzing and optimizing operational workflows across various business units. You will identify areas of inefficiency, develop data-driven solutions, and implement strategic changes that drive productivity and reduce costs.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and proactive individual with extensive experience in process improvement methodologies within industrial settings, capable of driving significant change remotely.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing operational procedures and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
- Develop and utilize data analytics tools to measure operational performance and track progress towards efficiency goals.
- Collaborate with site managers and operational teams to implement recommended changes and ensure successful adoption.
- Create detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, proposed solutions, and expected ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in operational efficiency.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or industrial engineering .
- Demonstrated success in implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma projects with measurable results.
- Proficiency in data analysis, simulation software, and process mapping tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams remotely.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
