About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly innovative and technically adept Remote Aircraft Systems Design Engineer to join their forward-thinking team. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the design and development of next-generation aircraft systems. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and validating complex aerospace systems, collaborating with a global team of experts.

- Design, develop, and analyze aircraft systems, including but not limited to avionics, propulsion, and structural components.
- Utilize CAD/CAE software for 3D modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of designed systems.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to define system requirements and specifications.
- Generate detailed technical documentation, including design reports, schematics, and integration plans.
- Conduct design reviews and present findings and recommendations to technical leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in aircraft systems design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and simulation tools (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, control systems, and materials science.
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading design aspects of complex aerospace projects.
