About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Remote Aviation Safety Inspector to join their globally distributed team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of aviation law and safety management systems.
- Conduct comprehensive remote safety audits and inspections of aviation operations, facilities, and equipment.
- Review and analyze safety data, incident reports, and compliance records to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with aviation operators to address identified safety deficiencies.
- Provide expert guidance and support to aviation stakeholders on regulatory compliance and safety best practices.
- Stay abreast of evolving aviation safety regulations, standards, and industry trends, both nationally and internationally.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, findings, and recommendations for management review.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SACAA).
- Proven experience conducting safety assessments and audits, preferably remotely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Relevant aviation degree or equivalent professional qualifications and certifications.
