Senior Process Engineer - Power Generation

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer specializing in Power Generation for a fully remote position. This role is integral to optimizing the performance, efficiency, and reliability of power plant operations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex process data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing innovative solutions to enhance operational output and safety standards. • Analyze operational data from power generation processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential improvements.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational and technical issues affecting plant performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for plant upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in power generation operations.
• Collaborate with plant operations teams and engineering disciplines to implement solutions and share best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering within the power generation sector.
• In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles relevant to power plants.
• Proven experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of power plant operations, including thermal, hydro, or renewable energy systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
