About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead key projects from their Mahikeng office. This senior position involves the conceptualization, design, and oversight of complex structural systems for a diverse range of buildings and infrastructure projects across the North West province. You will mentor junior engineers, ensure the highest standards of structural integrity and safety, and collaborate closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver innovative and reliable engineering solutions.

- Lead the structural design process for large-scale buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.
- Perform advanced structural analysis and modeling using state-of-the-art software.
- Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and structural calculations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of structural engineers and technicians.
- Conduct site visits to review construction progress and address any structural issues that may arise.
- Ensure designs meet all relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and project leadership.
- Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP
2000, RAM) and building information modeling (BIM). - Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
