About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Renewable Energy Project Developer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. In this crucial role, you will identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities for new renewable energy projects , focusing on solar and wind energy across various geographies. You will manage the full project development lifecycle, from site acquisition and permitting to stakeholder engagement and securing power purchase agreements.

- Identify and assess potential sites for solar and wind farms , evaluating resource availability, grid connectivity, and permitting feasibility.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of land leases, option agreements, and other real estate contracts.
- Manage the permitting and interconnection processes with utilities and regulatory bodies.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local communities, and government officials.
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to develop project economics and secure project financing.
- Negotiate and finalize Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with off-takers.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in renewable energy project development .
- Demonstrated success in bringing renewable energy projects from origination to financial close.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and work effectively in a remote team setting .
