Key Responsibilities

Design and recommend drilling fluid systems tailored to specific geological conditions and well objectives for global projects.
Monitor drilling fluid performance in real-time, analyze fluid properties, and provide timely recommendations for treatments and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies regarding drilling fluid management and disposal.
Troubleshoot drilling fluid-related issues, such as stuck pipe, lost circulation, and formation damage.
Maintain detailed records of drilling fluid operations, costs, and performance data.
Collaborate effectively with remote drilling engineers, geologists, and operational teams to achieve drilling objectives safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical) or a related science.
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer, preferably with offshore exposure.
In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and additives.
Familiarity with mud logging data and interpretation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent remote communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously.
