About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Automotive Systems Architect to design the foundational structure for their next-generation vehicle platforms, working entirely remotely. This role is instrumental in defining the high-level design of complex automotive systems, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and connectivity features. You will collaborate with global teams of engineers, product managers, and researchers to translate vision into a coherent and scalable technical blueprint.

- Define and document the overall architecture for automotive systems, including hardware, software, and communication interfaces.

- Collaborate with domain experts to select appropriate technologies, components, and standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential system risks, ensuring safety, security, and reliability are paramount.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive system design and architecture.
- Proven track record in designing complex embedded systems for automotive applications.
- Deep understanding of automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, CAN, Ethernet).
- Expertise in areas such as vehicle electrification, autonomous driving technologies, or connected car systems.
