Our client is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stellenbosch . You will be instrumental in planning, designing, and implementing transportation infrastructure solutions that enhance mobility and safety within the region. • Develop comprehensive transportation plans, including traffic studies, road design, and intersection improvements.
• Create detailed designs for road networks, public transport facilities, and pedestrian infrastructure using relevant software.
• Conduct traffic impact analyses and develop mitigation strategies for proposed developments.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and government agencies to integrate transportation solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of transportation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Analyze traffic data and propose solutions for congestion management and road safety enhancement.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation engineering.
• Proficiency in transportation planning and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, VISSIM, or similar.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, road design standards, and South African regulations.
• Experience with project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
